Dan Jolley, PhD

Dr Dan Jolley is a former personal trainer who now works as a lecturer and strength & conditioning coach. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, then began working as a personal trainer to fund his obsession with sport. After representing Australia in American football, he took up coaching, and completed a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology. He was the head of strength and conditioning for Gridiron Australia for two World Championship campaigns (2011 & 2015) and has also coached in the WAFL (Australian football) competition and the Perth Scorchers (WBBL). He holds a PhD in Educational Psychology at Curtin University in Perth where he carried out research on the competence and confidence of fitness professionals. Lana Eyeington, MSc, BSc (hons)

Lana is an Exercise Physiologist and Sleep Scientist. In 2013, she obtained a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology. In 2014 Lana achieved first class honours and a Bachelor of Health and Human Sciences (Honours). She also holds a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Major: Exercise Science) obtained in 2010. Her one decade of experience combines the fitness industry, clinical settings, athletic performance, academic teaching and research.

Gabrielle Maston, MSc, PhD Candidate

Gabrielle Maston is a qualified clinical and sports dietitian, exercise physiologist, behavioural health coach, and personal trainer. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Exercise Physiology, a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, and an Honours degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, and is currently completing her PhD at the University of Sydney where she is investigating the optimal macronutrient composition of a very low energy diet (VLED) to induce weight loss in morbidly obese patients.Gabrielle runs a private nutrition consultancy and exercise physiology business in Sydney. She is a regular feature writer for popular fitness magazines and a sought-after presenter in corporate health and well-being. Gabrielle’s passion is helping people lose weight, excelling in sport, and managing chronic disease by regaining their health through proper nutrition and exercise. She has made it her life mission to rid the world of fad diets. To accomplish this, she helps people avoid the torture of restrictive fad dieting and excessive exercise.

Shaun Bevins, PT, MPT, C-PT

Shaun graduated from the University of Delaware in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences and minors in Biology and Chemistry and then again in 1997 with a Master of Physical Therapy. A licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer/Group Exercise Instructor with over two decades of experience in the health and fitness industry, she has held positions as a fitness/aerobic instructor, personal trainer, massage therapist, wellness/nutrition counselor, course instructor/adjunct faculty, and an outpatient physical therapist specializing in sports medicine. Dan Wagman, PhD, CSCS

Dr Dan Wagman, PhD, CSCS is a professional coach and athlete based in Colorado, USA. He holds numerous national and international power lifting titles. Dr Wagman is dedicated to science and integrity in sport. He previously worked as the Health and Science Editor at Muscle and Fitness magazine and later went on to found the Journal of Pure Power.
